About Us

We enjoy bringing a tired piece back to life. When someone brings in a family piece to be loved again, restored and deeply polished, that is the best work there is.

We are a small furniture workshop, where pieces are still polished and restored by hand. To us a piece of furniture is more than an object: it carries a history, and cared for, it lasts for generations. That is what our work is about.

We work by hand. Stripping gently, repairing joints and veneer, colouring, building the shellac finish rubber by rubber, step by step, with patience. It is slow, careful work, and that is where the difference from a sprayed finish lies.
